Google cpc -Help needed!

Help needed with Google CPC which we have been running for some time.
Currently run two websites targeting about 15 keywords of which three or four are the main ones.
Currently the company needs a shake and to be taken out of our comfort zone - have got left behind with the whole cpc process over the last 6 months.
Further our cpc needs overhaul and major re-think as an ex employee who knows how and what we do etc,has now become a competitor.
Few key words need targeting and there are few negative keywords.
Work to start middle of next week.
Budget is indicative only.
Any replies from suitably experience UK based individuals welcome.
