Garment Technologist.

Whilst in the early stages of developing an alternative approach to the Men's Underwear and Loungewear industry, I am seeking a Garment Technologist to think outside the box in sourcing very unique, innovative and specific fabrics.

Candidate will be required to;

- Understand what the brand is trying to achieve, and what the finish article should look like.
- Be aware of luxury brands, and what fabric they use as not to cross over ideas.
- Have exceptional knowledge of current fabrics manufactured within the British Isles.
- Be fully aware of features, benefits and any downsides of selected fabrics.
- Advise on the best ways in which to manipulate said fabric to best match designs.
- Be able to source and provide samples.
- Advise on ways to manufacturer chosen fabrics and there resulting costs.
- Be prepared to search again within reason if unhappy with selected fabrics.

Most importantly, candidate must leave me completely satisfied that the most suitable fabrics available have been found.

I will be requiring to briefly meet twice with the successful candidate, firstly to discuss my project, and then a second to review and talk through there successful research.
