Flex Circuit Design

Our company is working on a new gamepad and we require a Gerber design of flex wire / circuit to connect two PCBs. Mechanically, the right part is connected to the left part through a slider mechanism. During the opening and closing of the slider mechanism the flex wire will be rolled on and out of a wire drum (as pictured).

The flex wire can be either single or double sided as seen fit by the engineer. Designer needs to be a professional electrical engineer.

The size of the complete wire is 250mm x 10.2mm. The wire will need to allow 16 connections between both boards. .STEP (AutoCAD) design of the circuit can be downloaded here: http://minus.com/mknzTFtf1

Our industrial designer has used the guide books of minco und allflex as reference for the basic design (download here: http://minus.com/mgmnMZ5Z0).

For the manufacturing we require an electrical engineer that can make the design ready for manufacturing.

The work needs to be provided as a Gerber file ready for manufacturing.

Previous experience with flex circuits is desirable.

Also ideally the job should be finished in a week's time as we have urgent deadlines to meet.
