Finish off a book cover / and back

I have most / all of the elements required to make a book cover for a 'Techno Thriller' / 'Survival Horror' - I have everything in a PSD file, but need someone to make it look more professional as I lack the skills to do but the basic stuff.

Essentially I think im looking for good text effects and placement and for the image on the front to really stand out. The main image may look good as though its being projected against a blood stained wall or its on a old crt tv.

Attached is two screen shots - what the front / spine / back look like now and what the front cover ive made looks like on amazon. There is also a zip folder called 'similar' which are some screen shots of covers i think would work well etc.

It's using a createspace.com 6x9 template, with 1x stock image from shutterstock, one from stockfreeimages.com and one (sunset) my own photo. I will supply the originals for the purposes of sizing etc. The photos have had some filters applied but im not bothered about these.
