Fashion Designer

The primary function of this role will be to build on and improve original design concepts, for a start up, taking a unique approach to a lackluster Men's Loungewear and Underwear market. Candidates will need to understand the brand, and what it is trying to achieve. They will give there verdict on initial designs, add and develop them, making them more brand specific and production ready. Finally presenting there work at an informal level.

The successful applicant will be expected to;
- Familiarise themselves with the existing market place, and identify there trends.
- Have a level of knowledge of available fabrics, and methods of garment construction.
- Be able to arrange colour and mood boards.
- Understand the production process.
- And most importantly, show exceptional flare and think outside the box during the development of designs, prints and colours.

No experience is necessarily required. Skills in Illustrator/Photoshop, for preparing technical drawings and garment construction, are advantageous.

Initially, this will be one-off job, with a view to offer regular work at a later stage, should candidate chose. I will be requiring to briefly meet with the successful candidate, firstly to discuss my the project, and then secondly to be presented with there work. Candidate will be able to liaise with myself throughout, should they require.
