Experienced Telesales Person For Regular Work

I am looking for a hard working and experienced telesales person to cold call UK businesses, to sell them the freight forwarding services of my company.

When contacting a prospect, you will be trying to establish whether they have a need for import or export shipping, whether by sea freight, air freight or road freight - an ideally the decision maker who will be responsible for any shipping requirements that the prospect may have.

I will need you to provide me with a report as to which companies you have contacted, along with decision makers names and email addresses, so that I can follow up with an email and some literature. For any immediate requests for quotations from a prospect, you can forward me their details and I will call them up straight away.

Please note that as we are a freight forwarder, we are only looking to establish new client relationships with businesses that have need to ship "freight" consignments, as opposed to small packages and boxes that would be for a courier type service. Furthermore our company is not involved in UK parcel distribution and our services are purely for freight consignments and international import or export only.

The successful candidate should be able to commit to 8 hours per week to start of with, with a view to extending this if both parties are in agreement after an initial 2 week trial period. Ideally I would like the 8 hours completed within one day, however I am flexible on this - so please let me know? The candidate should also be home based and able to make in the region of 100 calls within the 8 hour period. A spreadsheet list of 100 businesses will be sent to you each week, whom I have identified as having an import and/or export shipping requirement.

As I mention this is regular work each and every week for the right candidate and hours can be increased upon agreement by both parties. I am looking for someone that has experience in B2B telesales and with whom I can work with on a long term basis.
