Event theme logo design

I have created a logo using "actions" and "styles" within photoshop (I bought these online) and have gotten the design far enough to get client approval. I now need to have the design recreated so as to make it vector art and obviously not so rough. It requires an understanding of Illustrator and 3d Modeling. The entire logo is somewhat modeled and most of it has a pattern overlay of fine, green grass. The elements that are not covered in grass will be the actual logo and some lettering. I have put together this very rough example which is very similar to the task but with generic information.
