Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I'm urgently looking for an electrical product designer to design and prototype the lighting elements for our new illuminated makeup mirror.
We have completed the engineering drawings of the mirror with provisions for electrical components so you're not required to do that. However, it will be necessary for you to modify sections of the drawings in order to fit in the various electrical components.
The following are our main requirements:
1. AC power (110V and 220V options)
2. Detachable electric cable
3. 2 x fluorescent lamps of daylight quality illumination
4. Single swith controlling ON, OFF and DIM functions
To get you started, we have a similar illuminated mirror which does most of our requirements. You may borrow it if you wish in order to examine it and possibly copy Copying its electrical circuit could provide you a very good start.
You will be required to do both of the following:
1. Design the electric circuit to suit our requirement taking into account component sizes, component cost, reliability of circuit and ease of assembly
2. Produce a working prototype to demonstrate the concept
3. Amend the original drawings to include the selected components
The original drawings were designed using solidworks and will be supplied in STEP format.
I have attached a picture of our mirror design and 2 pictures of the sample illuminated mirror.
This is an urgent requirement and we're looking for someone to get started immediately and complete very quickly.
Please send me a message if you require further information.
