Editor / Proof reader required to polish a short book

My company has a book that needs polishing by a proof reader / editor with at least 3 years experience in the field.

Candidate will be required to proof read, edit and improve formatting, confusing or unnecessary descriptions, grammatical errors or anything else that might be spotted with a fresh eye. They will then need to change the text colour of all those changes to red text in the MS Word document provided so we can see where the improvements were made to assess your work for future reference.

This book is less than 20k words and takes just over an hour to read. It has had many passing edits by the author but he is quite frankly sick of going through it and wants to continue writing the remainder of the 36 book series without having to come back to it.

As we are unable to determine suitability prior to the work being completed we can only pay up to £75 for this first job. But if we are satisfied with the standard of work submitted we will invite the candidate back to work on more of the 36 books (as well as other projects we have lined up) over the coming years with a fair increase to reflect the level of attention given to the job at hand.

We would prefer the job to be completed within 5-7 working days if possible, but the sooner the better as future books will require a 5 working day deadline anyway so we can meet our own scheduled release dates.
