What I want to be able to do is to reduce the top section (menu logo etc) to as close to a single line as possible. I don't care about the logo as I can put it in every slider image. All I want is a single line of menu items. The idea is to raise the slider image so users can see the entire details of the three featured pages below the slider without having to scroll down. (it may also make sense to reduce the distance between the top of the three featured pages and the bottom of the slider as well).

All I need is a css snipet which will make this change
