Edit & Proofread a Novel

To edit & proofread a biographical novel on the relationship between Thomas Hardy and his first wife, Emma. The author is widely read in and about Hardy so I much doubt if there are any factual errors — he has researched pretty thoroughly and meticulously checked his sources — but there may be the occasional inconsistency within the text. Essentially, the text requires care copy editing and proofing prior to typesetting.

The book is aimed at a general UK readership. I can provide the text in a Word document and attach the book’s preface. There are twenty-one chapters with a short aftermath and a total word count of 77,400.
