We are a design company based in London. We are looking for a Linux specialist with experience in setting up Amazon EC2 Linux servers. Neutral intend to run a 3D renderfarm on Amazon’s EC2 using Ubuntu Server 11.10 for Cluster instances.
Basic steps identified so far:
· Set up to be compliant with AWS Ubuntu Server 11.10 for Cluster instances
· Create Ubuntu desktop for remote connection (using VNC server probably)
· Install Wine for running windows applications
· Install Cinema4D v13.061 for network rendering (We have official licence)
· Test Cinema4D NetRender client software communicates with another NetRender Server on AWS set up by us.
· Test the cluster instance and that the Cinema4D NetRender client software takes advantage of all cores available
· Create documentation of set-up steps and process.
