The aim of the project is to create a distributed alarm system for a household. Assuming that majority of households are now equipped with internet connectivity which are also connected to the mobile phones or tablets and even their TVs. Members of the house or tenants may not be at home when alarm goes off and may not realize this until they are back home. Issues to be dealt with include: how are the phone calls made, how are the messages sent to the tenant and how the alarm system is implemented.
* the console app should have also have a feature that displays the overview blueprint of the building that displays the point in which the alarm was triggered.
*program should be written in c# or c++ (preferably c#)
*XML or any database language to store log info (stores queries and contact details)
*the app should also have a monitor state (seeing as the app should always be on )
*possibility of porting it to a mobile app
