The aim of the Dissertation is to investigate the impact of urban regeneration on communities eg North Manchester urban regeneration projects such as The Media city or Liverpool Albert docks are good example although they are a lot more examples that can be used in this research suited to an area the research is taking place.
How is urban regeneration is improving the quality of life in areas affected and how on the other hand some communities are negatively affected by same developments. eg creation of white collar jobs/professional jobs and state of the art accommodation which pushes up the property price bracket also increase in rentals of the surrounding properties. these factors will drive the locals away etc
