Experience Level: Expert
MOT Mag is a new radical vegan lifestyle editorial platform that's being published by 'Ministry of Tomorrow'.
We're currently seeking a highly skilled multimedia designer to create an animated lower thirds template for our social media content (video and still images). This will just consist of a watermark of our logotype and designated areas for captions which will hold text.
We also require an animated closing sequence for the template which will consist of our logotype morphing into an illustrated closed pine cone that then opens. The pinecone opening needn't be overly elaborate - just a simple icon which is animated to open outwards.
We're looking to get this done as urgently as possible within the week and require a professional who is highly skilled motion graphic designer who can also illustrate and animate. The ideal candidate should be above competent with after effects, premier pro or final cut and illustrator. We're looking for a very clean and minimal design with a less is more aesthetic feel.
Please see the link below for an example of the BBC'S Instagram video content to get an idea of what we're looking for.

For the closing sequence, this is what we have in mind
(A 2d illustration of a closed pine cone which is then animated to open like its blossoming):

Thomas M.18 Sep 2017Hi Waheeda,
Something like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=McCP88uuZc4
But with a closed pine cone that then begins opening and remains open. It can just be a 2d illustration of a nicely stylized pine cone which is then animated to blossom.
The animation just needs to capture the transition from the closed state to the open state.Waheeda K.18 Sep 2017Simple, clean but effective. I got it Thomas. I am up for this project and trust me you won't be disappointed.
