Get my ecommerce website to page 1 in google and other search engines

I have an ecommerce website which has recently been built. I am currently in a state of generating sales, and would ideally like the website to appear on page 1 of google and other search engines, whether it be through organic SEO or Adwords.

I am looking for an expert in the area who can assist me and provide the right suggestions in a cost effective manner so that I can accomplish this matter.
