We need some intial advice on setting up a good inhouse email marketing and customer retention process for our database of online customers. Then some support (mostly by email) as we implement the process.
Specific advice would be around aspects of initial emails after customers place their orders (asking for reviews etc), followup emails, whether it's best we send a newsletter or just targeted emails to old and new customers. Also advice would be needed on how best to segment customers ie length of time since purchase, whether consumers, businesses / type of business etc.
We're using a Joomla! component called Acymailing from our site backend - it's very configurable but no experience or knowledge of this necessary as we should be able to work that out at this end.
