Book bonuses and cross-sell

I'm selling a book cheaply to build an email list. After the landing page, I'd like to add

1) a couple of more expensive bonus offers *on the checkout page* (where people have already clicked "purchase" and are to give their details etc. I imagine these bonuses as check boxes with short descriptions, together with the opting-into-list check-box)
2) another offer on the confirmation/thank you page (ideally with an expiration time like when they close the tab or at midnight the same day)

I've a WP site with WooCommerce, integrated with Mailerlite and the Stripe payment solution. (I'm currently on the free plan in Mailerlite but would consider switching to a paid one if that is required.) Using other services is OK, but I'm not keen on signing up for paid services.

With this, I have yet to find the option in any of these to customize the checkout page to accommodate the two bonus offers, but I'm hoping that's just because of my lack of knowledge.

So what I want to end up with is a landing page that, once someone clicks "purchase" opens to a particular checkout page with the bonus offers, and then, after they go through with their order, presents yet another one-time offer on the confirmation page.

The copy isn't important; just the functionality. I want to be able to edit the offers, so I'm not looking for hard-coded customised, fixed solutions if I can avoid them.

I've enclosed simple sketches to illustrate what I'm thinking. (I realise I forgot, on the checkout page, to put the details of the book they are buying in the first place, but hopefully you get the idea).
