Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Bid for the development of ITIL® OSA and RCV course presentations.
1. The quote submitted is for the development of either or OSA and RCV training presentations and trainer notes
a. The quote does not require excises
b. Fancy graphics and presentation layouts
c. Student material or other parts of courseware
d. We are interested in quality content (text) in PPTX slides with comprehensive trainer notes only!
NNB: Content is important not format or artwork – we have language specialists and graphic artists that will worry about the look and feel of material – DO NOT WASTE TIME ON THIS – we are not willing to pay for this – so doing so WILL NOT ENHANCE your offering!
2. You MUST be an ITIL Expert who has trained the course in question – we will quickly see if you know the subject and will cancel the contract if you take chances or try to mislead us! If you cannot do the work, do not quote!
3. YOU MUST USE the ITIL 2011 Ed as reference materials! You need your own copies – we will not supply the source materials for you – we are also not interested in paying you to procure this – if you were worth your salt, you would have it in any case!
4. If you use any other material we need the FULL DETAILS OF THE REFENCE USED!!!
5. You will need to sign an NDA
6. You will need to sign a contract in which you relinquish any claim to ownership of the material you developed for us. Once paid – the IP in its totality will be ours.
7. You will, in this contract also guarantee that the content sold to us belongs to you and not your employer or any other party and exempt us from any claims by other parties.
8. We will need proof that you are an accredited trainer for the course that you develop.
9. If you infringe the rights of another party by committing plagiary – we will notify the Examination Institute that accredits you of the fact (and you may lose you trainer accreditation – so please do not mess around by committing plagiarism).
10. We prefer bulleted slides – although sometimes this is not possible – try to refrain from writing long paragraphs on slides.
11. Do not copy and paste text from the ITIL® books if possible.
12. Paraphrase if you need to list a number of items or explain a subject.
13. Make sure that you include copyright notice and references to the ITIL® material even if it is paraphrased! (see samples below)
a. If direct text as in the book, use the following reference method: (© Crown copyright 2011 - Reproduced under licence from the Cabinet Office. SO 8.4 - Operational staff in Service Design and Service Transition)
b. Paraphrased or based on text in the book use the following: (© Crown copyright 2011 - Reproduced under licence from the Cabinet Office. Paraphrased from SO 8.4 - Operational staff in Service Design and Service Transition)
14. All slides must have comprehensive notes – this is typically, what the trainer would say to the class when discussing the slide. Please note:
a. This can’t be a copy of the slide or even the content of the slide in full sentences!!
b. You also need to include copyright notices on the notes pages as in the example above.
15. VERY IMPORTANT – IF ANYTHING IS BASED ON ANY THING THAT YOU READ IN THE ITIL BOOKS YOU USE THE REFERECE METHOD ABOVE!!!
16. ONLY TEXT THAT IS NOT BASED ON THE ITIL MATERIAL – e.g. an example based on your own experience needs no reference to ITIL® materials
17. Do not re-draw figures, tables or pictures – merely crate a text box with a detailed reference to the picture/table in question – Please include page numbers. REALLY DON’T DRAW PICTURES UNLESS IT’S A PICTURE NOT IN THE BOOKS!!!
18. On every slide include a text box which explains which part of the syllabus this slide refers to, e.g.;
a. This slide supports syllabus requirement – “add reference here” e.g (OSA01 - The value to the business of OSA activities Core Guidance References – SO 1.1 )
b. This block will be deleted once reviewer are satisfied that requirements are meat
