Wordpress Thesis Install and Header design

Hello, I have a wordpress site at the moment and would like someone to take the Genesis theme I've just purchased and set it up for me so my old site morphs into a lovely, clean looking new site.

I'd like to keep the same colours but have a much cleaner looking site (one central column and one sidebar). When I've tried to load the new theme myself I lose all my navigation bar pages and sidebar content. I'd like to avoid redoing the content of course.

I'd like my new site to have the social media buttons too (just like problogger). Thanks.
