Website Design

I require a website to be built to contain information of local events along wth various pages including a space for classified ads and a new ticker tape. The website is to be a e-zine type site and revenue raised from local advertisers for which I have contacts.
I require the site to be easy enough for me to maintain and upkeep unless the programmer would like an ongoing profit sharing arrangement.
I have the domain registered and the information used will be equine related.
