Description
Experience Level: Expert
Our client is a prestigious golf club in Surrey looking to update their website, and move it over to our custom CMS.
We need a design created, initially as a mockup in Photoshop, for client feedback. You will then need to be convert it into CSS onto our system.
The brief from the client is that it is to be "clean and clear", but as it's a prestigious club it needs to also look professional and classy. Clichés such as golf balls, golf clubs, or lots of grass, are to be avoided.
The design will need to include the elements:
- Header, that includes the club logo
- Main horizontal navigation menu, with on-hover sub-menus.
- Footer, with contact details
- Sidebar menu styles
- Table styles (e.g. for price lists)
- Form elements (e.g. for login and contact forms)
- Slideshow (that will most likely be on the home page)
We need essentially 2 pages designed: an eye-catching home page, and then a generic page that will be appropriate for a variety of content pages.
Photos and an existing logo will be supplied. You will be given a sample of other sites on our CMS, so you'll have an idea of what our system can do, and the sort of HTML that it generates. However, if you have a suggested feature that we don't yet support, we might be able to add that in, if it gives value to the design.
We have an ever increasing amount of design work, and are looking to build relationships with designers, especially those who know HTML and CSS, and those who can create a wide range of designs. If this design is successful, then you would be in good stead for follow-up work.
