I have a small holiday rental website i'd like some minor jscript and CSS work done on:
The pop-up date calander in the enquiry form is currently in UK format (DD/MM/YYYY). This is causing confusion with US users and given most of the traffic is US i want to change the format to MM/DD/YYYY. I have made the backend PHP changes myself but i now need this done in the javascript calender and a few other minor jscript and css changes. Its all very minor work hence small budget so please dont complain. Spec is:
CALENDAR MUST HAVES:
1. Date Calender (used on home page) must populate checkin and checkout dates as MM/DD/YYYY
2. When Checkin date populated calander must pop up in same month when checkout date selected. At present checkout date reverts to today in jscript pop up calender making it annoying if your checkin date was several months in future as you need to click through the months again when selecting checkout date.
3. Once both dates are populated a new line appears just checkout date detailing the number of nights selected eg. "7 Nites"
CALENDAR WOULD LIKE TO HAVES:
4. Something to prompt for US date format would be good perhaps text in each date field "MM/DD/YYYY" that disappears when clicked
5. A minor change to the CSS calander formatting so that each box is fully one colour and todays date is better highlighted. Something is slightly wrong in the CSS just now.
6. On the Late Deals page when a deal is selected from the drop down, if dates are associated with that deal (in deal listing on the right hand side of the page) those dates are prepopulated into the enquiry form. I can change the view layer html to enable this change if required.
FEATURED PROPERTIES HTML/CSS
WOULD LIKE TO HAVE:
7. I need something done with the the two property "Featured Properties" section on the home page. My cobbled together attempt at html and css does not hit the mark. I change these properties regularly and i need something that can handle different image dimensions so they still fit within the size of the section but somehow look more polished. At present my pictures are dimensions suited to the size of the area.
Please quote detailing what items (1-7) your quote incorporates. I can live without the would like to haves but ideally i do want them all complete.
Although this is a very small budget if i get a good job done you can expect future work.
Many Thanks,
Ewan
