Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
UX designer required for a motocross / sports events website.
Much of the design will be taking the existing pages and features, and creating professional, agency-standard wireframes that can be presented to our client and make clear the expectations for our designers and developers.
We are taking the old site, refreshing the design and adding a couple new features, but the vast majority already exist - with the pages on the the live site. We have however never had a single UX document for the entire site, so that is the main outcome of this job.
You will be expected to enhance the UX wherever possible, but the main objective is to re-detail the vast majoirty of pages, their basic layout and key features. We'll provide feature details where necessary, but because this is a site refresh, most of this can be dervived from the current site which you'll have access to.
The project has a budget of 30 hours inc. 1 round of amends (however these are often mininal from this client). As the majority of pages are already designed, we do not expect this to require a higher UX budget.
This project can be completed on a part-time basis between 3rd and 14th June, however there as some deadlines in between for client review:
w/c 3rd June
- UX design commences.
w/c 10th June
- First draft UX designs provided to client by eop Monday.
- Client to provide feedback by eop Tuesday.
- Second draft UX designs provided to client by eop Thursday.
- Client to provide feedback / sign off UX by eop Friday.
This work requires someone of mid-UX skill level, rather than senior or junior.
Applicants from the UK/EU preferred to align with our client review times.
Please provide examples of your UX documents in PDF format and details of experience.
Please note: this is not a user interface deisgn task (UI Design). Please only apply if you are a UX designer - with experience of creating wireframes, e.g. not a developer. Please attach these examples in PDF format to your proposal.
Thanks
