Single Product Sales Site

UPDATE: Ive had some querys... All we need from the designer is a design. An image created inFireworks or Photoshop (preferably Fireworks) would be fine. Also,some kind of concept of which elements of the page are visible on thehomepage and content pages, whether links change colour when they arehovered over, etc...


A simple sales website design is required. The website is to sell a single product to a public sector in the UK. The design will focus around a single product but should have scope to be expanded to similar products.

The website design must be compatible with the Joomla! content management system. This will be used to manage the content and provide functionality such as forums.

The site will consist of:
A front sales page displaying the product, product information with links to:
-Contact Us
-Support Forum
-Buy now, sales transaction page.
-FAQ page
-About us.

A concept for the site based around the product and the target market is required (the exact product and market cannot be revealed until the job is awarded due to commercial confidentiality).

A professional concept for the product site will be developed by gathering our requirements and a concept presented in draft form before artwork, design and web page mock ups are created as final deliverables. These must be of suitable quality for our web administrator to incorporate into a site.

The actual construction of the site and the creation of the copy are not required, just the concept and the design for the pages.

Keywords for the design: Professional, Commercial, Reliable, Community, Value, Long warranty, High Quality.

The site must look thought about individual and not an out of the box template.

No advanced products such as Flash, Java, excessive DHTML etc must be required to realise the design. The web design is target to work on as many OS/browser combinations as possible so the design should be technically simple.
