New banner and site design for Magento

Hi all,

Apologies but this is my first posting, so have now clarified exactly what I am expecting from this work, so please do review your bids if needed.

As mentioned I have a Magento store.

Basically I need to make the site more user friendly. Previously the store was an Oscommerce template and as the site was not doing too great I thought this to be down to the actual design and therefore arranged for it to be revamped in Magento.

Unfortunately and very concerning, after the revamp, I have not made any sales at all, where as I would expect to get on average 5 sales daily.

I would like someone to take a look at the site and see, if by changing the banner and colours to be more welcoming that business would in the very least go back to where it was before. Also the site is smaller than the banner and it might be useful to make this the main body align with the site.

I really like the way one of my competitors, allearplugs.com has added a testimonial and excerpts form their blog onto to homepage. I have been advised that the site might need a theme and would like the work to also include this. Also please advise if having a review box on the product page would also help. Basically I am open to any advice.

Please can you advise on how much this would cost as well as time scales.
