Laravel - Resizing div tags and moving content on Home Page

We have a Laravel CMS website, the customer would like the slider on the homepage to be smaller and scrolling on just one side with the welcome (div tag) being on the left?

Then the moving text (marquee) added above the slider (rough image attached)

The slider is managed by a module which lets the customer upload images, and the Welcome is a page, we still need these to be working.
