Description
Experience Level: Expert
Innovative Web Design Needed.
As if anyone is going to ask for non-innovative design! anyway.
I have a client that needs a revamp/redesign of their existing website. They are amongst the largest players in the market of Aviation and Maritime security worldwide, and present a highly professional and technologically advanced suite of products to the world. They have a global reach, although concentrate predominantly in Europe.
Along with a redesign we are moving the website to the Joomla CMS system, so any designs should conform to the wireframes we have for the templates that we will need to create.
Structure is agreed, but I need additional look and feel ideas, initially for a home page and 2nd level page. Follow on work could include creation of the Joomla template, so experience in this would be good.
It is also possible that we may well use the RocketTheme Meridian template, (http://www.rockettheme.com/joomla-templates/meridian) because I like a lot of the RokNav etc stuff, but obviously not the design.
The design should move forward the look and feel for this industry sector. Client led imagery is limited, so licensed imagery will be used (www.shutterstock.com or similar) and may have a theme, for example the animal kingdom, but this is under review.
If you feel up for this, and willing to work under an NDA then please get in touch highlighting some of your existing designs.
Strong competitor sites are www.securitas.com and www.symantec.com. Securitas primarily from a functional perspective, and symantec maybe more from a design slant. Corporate colours sadly though are blue and red.
This project may well lead to a lot more work for the right person, but will kick off with what for us is an important client.
