The job explained:

This will be a "Directory" orientated website for a specific sector.

There will be no more than 180 suppliers listed on the directory website.

Each supplier with have there own login area / dashboard, where they can add up to 10 photo's and 1 .pdf brochure to help promote the services they offer. Here the supplier can also write a description of the services they offer, discounts available, typical prices etc..
The supplier’s contact details will be available, address, telephone numbers, but not the direct email, I will explain.

The Idea is that the user can contact suppliers directly by using the website via email. The user will be able to request an “email quote" or a "call back" from suppliers. The user would simply click on the supplier they choose to have a quote from, they can click either an "email quote" OR "call back" button, this then opens up an "enquiry form". On this "enquiry form" the user enters their email address, their mobile number if they wish, dependant on the quotation method selected, "call back" or "email quote". The user can also indicate their specific requirements in a "services described" text entry box on the "enquiry form"

The user will be able to find a certain supplier by looking geographically, (clicking on an interactive highlighted map of England / Scotland and Wales) OR they will be able to type in a keyword search to try and locate a supplier by name.

When the user has entered all the information needed for the supplier to quote or call, they click send. At which point an email is forwarded to the supplier from the website for them to follow up.

Simple as that!

There will be an almost identical site that needs producing as a second project following on from this one. So do a good job you can double your money.
