Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am looking for someone who can provide help with re-styling an existing site which currently use a mix of CSS (original the layout was created using Eric Meyer styling rules) and hard coded elements for both layout and colours, together with old table elements which need to be converted to div's etc.
I want someone who is fully conversant with the 960 grid system (or equivalent) and who can take some of the existing pages and re-code the layout elements of these pages to incorporate the grid system, and also provide the corresponding CSS that will allow me to define within those pages where things are placed.
I will also need this person to document what and how they have achieve this so it can be applied to new pages that might get created.
The idea will be that once done I will be able place existing content elements into the grid system accurately positioning them on the page to fall in line broadly with a 4 - 6 column format that has the flexibility to allow me to make one page different from the next in terms of numbers of columns used.
This is quite an urgent job but it is important that it is done right so I will be happy to pay the right individual for a couple of hours to look at it and give me an assessment of what might be involved and provide me with a fixed price for the job.
The site has a database backend so we are only talking about changes to about 6 main pages, that themselves then pull in the content which makes up the site.
