Simple Graphic Logo Design

Simple logo job for an effects pedal I\'m building, not planning on using it commercially at this time. Consists of the words \"Heart of Gold\" centered around a cartoon-ish take on a golden jewel. (Think like the style of cell shaded animation)

I\'ve attached a rough concept drawing of what I\'m looking for in the design. Final dimensions of the logo will about 1\" height by 2\" width. Text should be somewhat retro-looking and white (kind of going on a 50\'s design theme with the whole pedal) and the jewel should be gold/yellow.
