Mobile App Icon

I am developing a new app called Trail Buddies. It allows hikers to find new groups to hike with. It is currently in early development, but I am looking for someone to design a logo.
I am using the attached icon as a place holder, and it is roughly what I'm looking for, but I need something more professional. Less busy, but with a similar style.

Please let me know if you are interested and what information I need to provide

I may need more design work in the future as well
