Need a quick logo for OutsideThe48.com. NB the site is being completely redone - predominantly black and white. Logo can be color or not.

Concept of site: In the US the mainland contiguous states are a bit different.

Hawaii and Alaska (an Puerto Rico - not strictly a state) often suffer from the laziness of mainland companies. The "48" make up about 98% of the total population so why bother.

One problem is online shopping. Many companies simply will not send stuff "outside the 48" and others demand it be sent via FedEx or another expensive carrier.

Fedex is there in two days and for a 2lb (1kg) package costs around $50 while it takes 3 days via US Postal Service (USPS) but costs only $10.

So BASIC CONCEPT: People with problems send their package to our base in Oregon and then we send it to them by cheap USPS.

The two attached ROUGH diagrams (they will be reworked) give an idea.

Need rough roughs with proposal. Good roughs in 24 hours. FINALS (in layered PNG ideally) in 48 hours max.

Other logo work likely for good applicant. Need friendly communicative person.

Supplying outlines with this in case you want them to make job easier NOT necessary.

Logo COULD use mainland outline as the basis as this is very recognizable.

This is a speculative logo. A "proper" one will be made by agreement later.

Ideally highlight two logos you have done that show your style for this.
