Asonans Foundation is a vibrant community of dedicated international performing artists across the media of music, dance and theatre all of whom share a deep passion and commitment for their work. Our mission is to spark new connections among aspiring artists and more experienced professionals, and to encourage dialogue between them as well as with practitioners in allied fields, for the purpose of strengthening practice and artistic development through raising awareness of the pressures and challenges that face those working in creative arts in the twenty-first century. Our unique focus is on the significance of creative emotional engagement, and how it impacts on the way artists prepare and perform.

We aim to build and share a knowledge base of the social and emotional factors that face those working in the performing arts now and, where appropriate, to provide on-going specialist psychological support when artists find themselves in difficulties that inhibit their creative work and development.
