Logo Design

I am starting a business and would like some help with the design of my logo. The company is called Athena Reviews and its ethos is to do with evidence-based practice, literature reviews etc. I have attached the style I quite like for a logo which would just be an A and an R. With this style it would be nice if the A and R connect in some way.

However, I am also open to alternative opinions. I would love to hear any ideas from the person I decide to work with, as well as alternatives. So, as part of the application process, could you please provide one way you would change the style of logo I have proposed, or one alternative.
