I'm planning to start a podcast in September and I'm immediately seeking a logo design since that is my first project. I'm not sure if I should start out basic or if I need to start with a larger concept logo first.

My show is called "The Black College Mentor." The purpose is to provide college students, recent college graduates and young professionals of color advice on how to successfully navigate college to landing a career opportunities and career development.

My target audience is 17 - 35 year olds persons of color. I am a hip 45, no nonsense, tell it like it is Black college professor who has mentored hundreds of students in achieving success and reaching goals.

I'm interested in a funky logo:-)...I see a graphic animation(caricature) of a Black women dressed in a professional pants suit, stilettos with a tshirt on that says "stay woke!"

Other visions I have (maybe this is for larger project) ...I see this same figure stranding in front of a college building where students are entering one door dressed as stereotypical college students and leaving out another door dressed for careers and professional opportunities.

I thought about this . About adding my dog my white/black maltipoo, I'm kinda known by him. I take him every where even to campus some days.
