I Need Modification of Existing Logo Sample-Sample Attached

Good Evening FreeLancer,

1. I am in need of a logo that I can use at the top of a webpage, sales page, a business card and/or order form...

2. I have had two samples prepared by a graphics student several years ago and I was unable to finish because I had to store computer equipment when I became my Mother's CareGiver until her death in 2011; I have recently upgraded my computer and will be ready in mid-to-late April for this project.

3. SO HERE IS WHAT I WANT:

A. The foundation of the logo goes back to my father's QSL [proof of contact] cards when he was still living when his avocation was Amateur Radio Operations; Don't worry both my father and the man that designed the card are deceased so there is no problem with trade infringements.
B. I want the focus point of my logo to continue to be the cowboy on the pumpjack and positioned on the walking beam, with the hat, antenna, receiver, the laptop and his cellphone in his hand; try to change his hat to a lighter color and see if you can position on his head without covering his face.
C. The Gusher that is outside the state graphic, please reduce and place on a different but appropriate spot, perhaps the southern tip at the bottom or the top northeast corner part of the state; reducing the gusher size is ok as long as it can be distinguished..
D. Delete the phrase: "Smart cowboys only talk to opted in prospects..." as well as the text on the side cutaway of the state-"Use my Software Tools to Prospect for dollars; also you can delete all the contact information.
E. Keep the IMVAA on the platform box as that is the abbreviation of my registered DBA.
F. Regarding the Blue Background: Agan, take off the contact information in the right corner, the two websites on the surface of the earth and the yellow and green text can be eliminated, and on the side edge of the state insert the words "ponyhunter98@heritage-harvesters.com" and I think either the green or the brown would stand out great.
G. I like the way that the state of Texas is floating above the globe, perhaps it could be partially cut out with a Photoshop Tool to make it look like its a meteor, and the blue background can be removed also.

3. So, I think this just about completes my project, AGAIN PLEASE REMEMBER, I will not be ready until mid or late April. I have previously ordered other work from people-per-hour and have been most pleased with the work and the freelancers. Please have an effective command of the English Language so I can either communicate via SKYPE, webcam or email.

This is an important project for me but it is NOT on the front-burner; it WILL be placed on the front burner sometime in APRIL!
