I need a logo created for merchandising

Information for the business: Residential creative courses set in a beautiful scenic rural area in France; main attraction is a large lake and dam, edged by leafy walks leading to woodland. Courses will include creative writing, art, photography, cookery, fishing, bird watching, outdoor crafts, Bees keeping etc.
Brand name/slogan in logo: Creative Breaks Brittany
Ideas for the visual style: Arty, nature, creative, clean and simple, easy to read and to transfer onto other items, maybe of line drawing so could be used in mono colour on clothing
Things to avoid: full colour, over complication
Where the design will be used: web, print, merchandise etc.
Extra notes: Have chosen 'Entry level' to keep my options open for any designer wanting to bid, not to reflect budget.

Want to use the logo in portrait and landscape versions - to support different merchandise: will work small e.g. on business card and large e.g. on T-shirt.

Need to have logo in different formats for usage, uploads etc., e.g. Jpeg, png, eps, tif, gif for web format etc.
Note: The timber lakeside house has a terrace running the whole front of the property facing onto the lake and it is a very calm, tranquil and quiet retreat.
