Design a logo for my travel blog

Type of logo: Pictorial mark
Brand name/slogan in logo: Heart of Nomad
Ideas for the visual style: A red heart with a big mammoth with tusks
Preferred colors: Red for the heart, brown for the mammoth
Where the design will be used: On the banner of my blog www.heartofnomad.net (page design still under consideration).
Extra notes: This is a travel blog with a number of past travel stories to be published, plus ongoing travel stories from any future travels. I always travel in a fairly "off-the-chart" style, as you'll see from the 'intro' page. So I always have interesting stories to tell. I'm looking to have the mammoth together with a red heart, but other than that I'm not really sure. It has to be a banner that will fit as part of Blogger's banner, and I want it to be quite imposing, ancient but modern, powerful and impacting...
