Description
Experience Level: Entry
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
Information on the business: Sourcing for Construction jobs (e.g. Welding, Pipefitting, electrical..).
Type of logo: Word mark, Character
Brand name in logo: Core Crew
Ideas for the visual style: See extra notes
Preferred colors: Black, Yellow, White
Where the design will be used: website, apparel, SoMe, Letterhead...
Extra notes: Option 1
Headshot (cut off at upper chest) of construction worker. Wearing yellow hardhat, earplugs & black safety glasses. Safety glasses show “Core Crew” in white lettering reflecting in them (one word for each side). Guy is muscular and wearing blue, buttoned, collared shirt. Guy is clean cut, has black hair but no facial hair, is Caucasian but has tanned skin because he works outside in the sun.
Option 2
Same guy depicted in Option 1, but a little longer shot (cut off at mid-torso), where his arms are folded over one another in front of him. We see “Core Crew” tattooed across his arms (one word for each arm). Font style is rough & edgy, but not scary or visually unappealing. Font color can be all black or yellow outlined in black.
Option 3
Longer shot of guy in Option 1. He is full-bodied, standing on a small pile of rocks or dirt. Shot is from below, slightly from the side. One leg is raised on some debris; one leg is straight. Guy is muscular, wearing blue, buttoned, collared shirt with pockets on the front chest panels. Possibly a company or name patch above one pocket. Also is wearing blue jeans, black work boots and gray work gloves. Has a standard construction tool belt around his waist and is holding a welding torch with one hand. Welding torch hose runs off the side of the pile (we don’t see the connection point to the welding tank). “Core Crew” is at the bottom of where the rock/dirt pile stops, in big block yellow lettering, outlined in black.
Option 4
Shot of a large dark gray steel plate/wall that someone has just finished welding “Core Crew” into. Plate/wall should show some depth to it. Font style is rough & edgy, but not scary or visually unappealing. Words are cut out of steel plate/wall now, but are still outlined in orange sparks from the welds. Sitting off to one side of the plate/wall is a welding tank with the welding torch (unlit now) hanging from it. A standard construction tool belt is also hanging from the welding tank dolly handle.
