Description
Experience Level: Expert
A new Board Game based on the Freemasons. I need a logo for the game, called On The Square. It will be used on the external packaging for the game as well as on social media to promote the game. For your information, here is a narrative about the game:
On The Square
Non Masons Version:
Freemasonry is one of the oldest social and charitable organisations in the world, it’s roots lie with the medieval stonemasons that built all the significant buildings of yesteryear, yet it is as relevant today as it was hundreds of years ago.
Freemasons use four guiding principles to help define their path through life: Integrity, Friendship, Respect and Charity.
Membership is open to men of any background and the organisation’s aim is to empower members to be the best they can be – it’s about building character, supporting members as individuals and helping them make a positive contribution to society. There are over 6 million Freemasons Worldwide.
But, Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the locked and guarded doors doors of a Freemasons Lodge?
On The Square gives you a rare glimpse into the inner workings of a Freemasons Lodge, allows you to assume the roles of important lodge leaders and through an exciting combination of luck and strategy you can progress through the various degrees and take your seat as Master of the Lodge.
Masons Version:
Modern Freemasons know that their meetings are generally split into two parts, one to conduct general lodge business, agreeing rules and setting dates Etc, the second is ceremonies and rituals, such as admitting new members or changing roles within the lodge.
As Freemasonry is a membership organisation the details of each of these stages is private to members.
Playing On The Square allows members to share some of the methods, tools and positions involved with friends or members of their families. Nothing in the game reveals anything that is not already in the public domain, so no Masonic rules are broken.
If any of your friends, family or connections has ever wondered what goes on at your Freemason meetings, On The Square is an ideal way to open discussion about modern freemasonry in a fun and friendly way.
