Making Christmas stockings (Cutting and Sewing high quality stockings)

We are looking for someone to make Christmas stockings.

The stockings are approximately 17" tall and 10" wide and lined with an ivory cotton flannel. They have a turquoise velvet hanging ribbon and our brand label. We are not looking for the cuff to be made - this will be embroidered and attached later by us.

We'll supply the 100% cotton material, flannel, ribbon and labels for you to cut stockings from and make up. To help with this we'll provide a basic cardboard template and a completed stocking as an example.

We've got 3.7 metres of fabric (1.12m wide) so there's enough material for between 20 to 24 stockings. We're happy to pay either a fixed price or per stocking made.

We'll post all the materials to you (or if you are near Cardiff you're welcome to collect). When completed, we would like you to post the completed stockings back to us using tracked delivery (or again deliver if it's convenient). This return cost is to be included in your price.

We've attached a photo - the first image shows what we'd like made and the second shows the finished stocking. We are not looking for the cuff to be made/attached.

The work needs to be completed and returned to us by Saturday 14th September.

Milgi Coats is a small business based in Wales making luxury clothing for greyhounds, lurchers and whippets. Following the success of stockings last Christmas we are looking to increase the number we sell and this will be the first of several jobs.
