(Tilt Sensor)
A sensing system capable of accurately detecting the DEGREE of
of displacement.
The circuit would initially need an input.
The input would be the area of motion, for instance 10 degrees, left or right from zero point.
Assuming the gyroscope/accelerometer is inaccurate, a method of calibration will be needed.
The finished circuit would include a DAC (Digital to Analogue Converter).
The output from the circuit would be 0.3v idle with a displacement detection value of 0.5 then gradually increase up-to 4.5V when at 10 degrees.
The greater the accuracy the better.
The circuit is intended for outdoor use and this should be reflected in the choice of components.
Component cost should be kept to a minimum.
