2 Original Digital Artworks for Giclée Prints

This is an unusual project. I will do my best to explain it.

The project is to create 2 - 15 X 15 cm digital paintings that act as a painting and coin display in one. After the work is printed, I will cut a circle out in the middle, that is where the coin is placed. The centrepiece.

The concept is that the coin and painting get merged into one work. I need an artist to expand the image on each coin through the painting.

For the Elf Coin: Complete lower half of Elf's cloak, fill in legs/boots, other half of the bow and arrow, extend flowing hair . Then connect the trees in the background and fill in all the imagined scenery. Use the same aspect ratio as the coin when connecting trees in the distance and filling in the Elf's features.


For the Fox Coin: In the foreground, match up and expand on the flower arrangement. Complete the flowers cut off outside the rim. Match the style/colour of flowers and expand on them. Then fill in the imagined scenery.

I figure the most practicle way to do this is for the artist to crop out the coin from a photo. Then resize it to 38.5mm (approx diameter of real coin). Then make sure the features on the cropped image of the coin has the same dimensions as the real coin (the imugr link has these)

Then impose the cropped coin onto a 15cm X 15cm space as the centrepiece. Then paint the world outside the rim of the coin. Keep in mind that the circle I cut will be slightly larger than the coin for fitting (approx 39.25mm).
