Vectorworks 3D CAD Expert Required – Event Space Model (VWX)

I am looking for a Vectorworks specialist to build a clean, structured 3D model of a single event space within a larger venue.

Please do not apply if you have not worked inside Vectorworks professionally before.

This is not a rendering job.
This is not a SketchUp-to-export job.
The file must be created and structured directly in Vectorworks.

Project Scope

We are modelling one event room only, marked in red on the provided GA plan (Stock Exchange V1). The rest of the building is irrelevant.

You will be provided with:

• Architectural GA plan (PDF)
• Real on-site measured dimensions (for accurate scaling)
• Hand-drawn furniture measurements
• Reference images of the space
• Clarification notes regarding column bases and scaling points

Important:
The GA plan states “Do Not Scale.”
You must scale the model using the real measured distances provided (e.g., column-to-column distances).

Objective

Create a proportionally accurate 3D planning model suitable for event layout purposes.

This is NOT:
– Construction BIM
– Fabrication drawings
– Hyper-detailed modelling

It must:
– Look close in proportion and structure
– Be spatially accurate
– Be clean and organised

Building Modelling Requirements

• Walls
• Structural columns (including square bases)
• Bar area
• Food pass
• Key architectural features visible in reference images
• Correct proportions and heights inferred from images
• Clean geometry
• Proper use of layers and classes

Furniture Requirements

• Custom seating to be modelled from provided sketches and images
• All furniture must be built as modular 3D symbols
• Each unit must be reusable, rotatable and easily rearranged
• Dimensions must follow provided measurements
• No unnecessary detailing

File Delivery Requirements

• Delivered as Vectorworks (.vwx) file
• Clean layer structure
• Clean class structure
• Furniture created as symbols
• No rendering required
• No advanced texturing required
• Must use Vectorworks 2022 or newer (confirm version before applying)

Workflow Expectation

Import PDF

Scale correctly using provided measured distances

Build base architectural shell

Submit one furniture module for confirmation

Complete remaining modules

Before Applying

Only apply if:

• You are experienced in Vectorworks 3D CAD
• You understand modular symbol workflow
• You can show screenshots from inside Vectorworks
• You can deliver within 5–7 days

Please include:
– Your Vectorworks version
– Example VWX screenshots
– Estimated turnaround time

Applications without Vectorworks experience will be ignored.
