Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are considering investing in our current premises to create a beautiful wedding venue. The building is currently used as a restaurant & gift shop and we would like to visualise how it could look to accommodate weddings with the creation of a 3-d render.
There are four main areas we would like to visualise:
The main space is octagonal with a high vaulted ceiling and panoramic windows looking out onto a beautiful Scottish castle view. Here we would hold the ceremony & wedding meal/dance and are thinking oak wooden flooring, and muted "Farrow & Ball" tones on the walls, large ceiling lampshades, and fairy lights tracking the beams. Table layout would be one long table at the window (the top table) and 6 round tables for guests.
Outside area: We have an outside patio accessed from the corridor adjoining the bar and main dining area. Here we would like to build an oak frame gazebo (open-sided) with canopy roof, and a bit of greenery/climbing plants to create a garden room feel.
Directly in front of the building we would like a lawn which could be used to hold the ceremony when the Scottish weather allows (!).
Bar area: We would like to convert our current shop space into a bar/breakout area. We are thinking a cosy space here, a "smoking room" feel, possibly with wood panelling, leather sofas, tweed soft furnishings, trophy head on the wall, a bar with lit gantry, floor lamps, large ceiling chandeliers/lampshades, atmospheric lighting and a wood-burning stove. Again, with muted tones on the walls, probably to match the main room.
Bridal “boudoir”/private changing area: This is a small private room with toilet which we would like to refurb. The theme of muted colours to continue here, with a small chesterfield sofa, a couple of chairs, mirrors, ceiling lampshades, floor lamps.
FLOORING : we would like to visualise antique oak flooring throughout, with the bar area partially carpeted.
More info and photos can be provided! Many thanks, Nicola
