Kitchen Design

This project is about kitchen design.
In this project (see pictures and dimensions in folder) I am thinking about using the section with laminate for a dining / TV area where the games console will be. Perhaps a small wall mounted entertainment unit on which games consoles will be kept and suitable sitting arrangement. The kitchen floor probably linoleum flooring as I am not ready to laminate it yet. The cabinets fronts I could paint or replace the front covers and paint the wall tiles a suitable colour. I could cover or replace the work tops. I don't think I am ready to rip everything out yet. So, some easy wins may be appropriate. However, your advice is what I will depend on. If redoing all is the only option, I will have to think about it.
