Interior Design for Small Living Room

Design details: I am looking for a couple of design/colour concepts for new living room design. To be presented in 3D drawings

I have a small living room (5.4 x 2.7m) that is in desperate need of an overhaul but I am not very good at interior design and basically could do with a couple of visuals to pass onto a contractor for pricing.

The narrow shape of the room makes it difficult to have too many layout options.

There is currently a small fireplace which I would look to block over and replace with an electric fireplace.

There are two recessed areas currently which I would like to make use of as storage cupboards.

Hopefully the attached drawings and images will be enough for someone to work with and come up with a couple of 3D visuals.

I have no particular preference as to colour scheme but the light grey sofas are only 6 months old so it would be handy to keep them and work them into at least one of the designs.

Also, we have a 10month old baby so do not want to fill the central space with coffee table if possible - happy with side tables.
