Hello,
Im setting up this project as a part of practical interview stage, if you are still interested in taking on the task send your offer with the fee we agreed previously ( fixed task fee).
If anyone new joined us here at this point, please drop me a message and I will be able to explain the process and whats required.
Please read below:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Here quick recap of what we are looking for:
We are starting up interior design business that focuses on delivery of small projects (usually one or two rooms turnarounds) for residential transformations.
We are looking for freelancers who can quickly turnaround such projects and help to deliver great quality 3d renders as per project requirements.
The design would ideally be complete in 3ds max out of floor plan and mood board provided.
These are interior decorating project with quick turnaround times. There is also opportunity from clients to request detailed interior design project that then would be priced up individually, therefore please treat those simple project as your sample to inspire the client to want more.
What is critical for those small are speed and aesthetics of design. Imagine that you re the customer who wants to see transformed space - use this opportunity to make him WOW at your design.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
2. Task description
-Please see attached floor plan to this task - you are provided with measurements of the room.
-The other attachment is the moodboard ( 2 - please pick one you prefer)the client has chosen as inspiration for the space - this is your guide to what you want the space to look like. At this point if you have library of furniture that looks similar please use - We do not want you to waste time on 3d modeling for each piece.
-Whatever is not on the moodboard is down to your idea and creativity.
- There is also photo of the current space attached.
Key rule : Do not overthink the design - The simpler the better.
Can you please kindly time yourself - make sure you do not spend too much time on turning this around.
Make it real - this is probably one of the wow factors when comes to transforming spaces. Dont produce flat, uninteresting design. Play with lightening and texture.
Once activity is complete could you please walk me through the process.
if any questions/ clarifications please ASK.
Good luck!
