Wine Labels

Description: Our company produces personalised wines for consumers to buy as gifts. We will sell online to the general UK public as well as to Brides to be for the wedding market. Customers will be able to choose from a library of labels of all styles (to appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds), personalise the text and choose the wine they would like to receive it on.

Our target market is 25-50yo, predominantly female (but we need to have labels that appeal to males as well

Budget: 14 Euro per label (we need 40 in total).

Timescale: Completion by September 30th.

A variety of different designs are required for the Christmas gift market using traditional Christmas imagery in a smart, modern format. Half aimed at men, half at women. 3 specifically for Champagne.


Category: Modern Take on A Traditional Wine Label
No of designs required: 5
This should be your take on a traditional style wine label. Perhap modernise using more up to date fonts and colours.
2 labels specifically for champagne, 3 for wine.

Category: Any Occasion
No of designs required: 15
These could be illustrations, abstract or textual, the only point is that they should not be suitable for only one occasion, eg birthday. They should be a general design that is multi-use. Half aimed at men, half at women.

Requirements for all Label Designs
 Label size must 4x3 inches.
 Portrait display preferred, with a few landscape.
 Image must be RGB
 Files must be produced using Photoshop (or Illustrator).
 Fonts must be free for business use
 On labels where the image is the focus of the label and the text is secondary please place sample text with your chosen font.
 Grape Variety and Vintage must be on each design - use sample text "Chardonnay 2012"
 Legal Req's - exclusive to us with full licence and usage rights.




Working Process

1. Rough design sent through to us
2. Selected designs will then be sent back to designer for development
3. Designers sends developed labels for review
4. Any necessary amendments are made
5. Repeat of steps 3 & 4 if necessary
6. Sign off on labels
7. Designer emails: - design files in 3 formats - .psd (or .ai)

Expectations
